Parent PLUS Loan Application

Graduate PLUS Credit Solutions*

It’s always discouraging to be turned down for a loan, especially when you’re looking for ways to send your child to college. But before you borrow against the equity in your home or turn to credit cards and other expensive money sources, give NextStudent a call.

At NextStudent, we’ve found ways to give parents who’ve been denied a PLUS loan a second chance at qualifying—and it works. We’ve been able to help nearly 90% of our PLUS and Grad PLUS applicants qualify for their PLUS loan, either right off the bat or after a little help from our PLUS Credit Solutions team.

Don’t let credit worries stop you from applying!

If you’ve been denied for a PLUS loan, give us a call. We’ll work with you, one-on-one, to resolve outstanding credit issues so you can reapply for your PLUS loan and get the financial assistance you need.

Our credit analysts hold Fair Credit Reporting Act certification and will go through your credit report with you to identify errors and unresolved accounts that have already been satisfied. The NextStudent team of FCRA-certified specialists will help you dispute inaccurate entries and get them cleared from your credit history.

Best of all, there’s no charge for this service. We help you because we believe everyone has the right to affordable college funding.

At NextStudent, you won’t find credit problems, you’ll find PLUS Credit Solutions.

Contact us or call (800) 481-6398 today for your second chance to qualify for a low-cost Federal PLUS Loan from NextStudent.

* Please be aware that due to current conditions in the student loan market in particular and in the financial sector in general, NextStudent is not currently able to accept any new PLUS, Grad PLUS, Stafford, or Federal Consolidation Loan applications.

On October 1, 2007, legislation went into effect that cut $21 billion in subsidies to FFELP lenders like NextStudent. We have been searching, and continue to search, for avenues that would allow us to keep offering FFELP loans. But at this point, until market and regulatory conditions change, we find ourselves forced to suspend our federal education loan programs.

We value your business, and we want to make sure you’re able to get the money you need to pay for school. We encourage you to take advantage of college scholarships and your available federal financing options. But if you’re still in need of a parent or student loan, please give us a call, and we’ll do what we can to help.
